Diego Costa has returned to London in a bid to try and resolve his ongoing feud with Chelsea, according to Marca.

But The Mirror claims Chelsea sources are insisting that Diego Costa has not returned to London despite reports claiming the Brazilian star has finally arrived back in England.

The Spain international has been in Brazil for the last three months following his exile from the Premier League champions

Antonio Conte informed him via text back in June that he would no longer be part of his plans.

Diego Costa had hoped to sign for Atletico Madrid this summer but the two clubs failed to reach an agreement.

In a turn of events, Chelsea named Costa in their 25-man Premier League squad last week and want him to feature this season.

Diego CostaAnd according to Spanish newspaper Marca, Costa has now returned to London.

The report suggests Costa realises he must get back to full fitness if he wants to be in Spain’s World Cup squad next year.

Atletico also want the forward to be at the top of his game for when their transfer ban comes to an end in January and they can officially sign him.

With Costa now back in England’s capital he must still try and find a way back into Conte’s plans.

Meanwhile, the Daily Express reports club owner Roman Abramovich is thought to be unhappy with the way the Italian handled Costa’s situation, especially the way in which he told him via text.
