On July 10, 1988, South Africa’s Dingaan Thobela defeated countryman Ditau Paul Molefyane via 10-round unanimous decision. “The Rose of Soweto” competed from featherweight all the way up to cruiserweight, winning two world titles at 135lbs and another at 168. He retired in 2006.
